In the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic, their plans for a large, in-person walk/run changed. August 22 and 23 proved to be a smokin hot weekend and BBQ was the perfect taste bud pleaser. Camp 31 BBQ, Billy Bones BBQ and Pistol Petes BBQ served almost 3000 cars as part of a creative drive-thru BBQ Ribfest set up at the former Sears parking lot owned by McCowan & Associates. A $3 per car entry fee was donated to RVH and raised over $8500 for patient care. RVH is truly grateful for being the beneficiary of such a popular event. Barrie residents love their BBQ!
