Lumsden North Park reservations is at 709-530-2309 from 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday. If you are checking in after 4pm, or on the Weekend please drop by the Town of Lumsden's Comfort Station, you can pay there.

Due to the Extreme Fire Hazard Index in our area, the Town of Lumsden is now under a Fire Ban. As of now, outdoor fires are not permitted in our community. Thank you for understanding.

Lumsden North Park Update! The Lumsden North Park will be open on June 19, 2020. The park will open with reduced capacity to be compliant with the Provincial Health Orders. We will be starting to take reservations on Monday June 8th at 8am. You can reach us by calling 709-530-2309, please do not use Facebook Messenger, as the messages may not be checked and we may miss your reservation. Any calls or messages that come in after 4pm or over the weekends will be checked in th...e morning once the office opens at 8 am. We are not permitted to take reservations for Tents or Units that are not self contained, all units have to have water supply, holding tank of personal washroom facilities. Guidance for Campgrounds Note: National parks are subject to rules and regulations by Parks Canada. The information below pertains to provincial and private campgrounds in Newfoundland and Labrador. In Alert Level 3, provincial, municipal and private campgrounds are permitted to open for limited overnight camping, with restrictions. Decisions regarding the timing of Provincial Park opening rests with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation. General Restrictions: Day use of campgrounds and parks is permitted in Alert Level 3. Overnight camping access will be limited to self-contained units, including RVs or cabins that have a water supply, holding tanks and personal washroom facilities. Occupants of a campsite must be from the same extended bubble. There must be a distance of at least 30 feet between units to ensure appropriate physical distancing. Campers must stay at least 6 feet away from each other, unless they are part of the same bubble. Overnight tent camping is not permitted in Alert Level 3. No group campsites/reservations are permitted, and double sites cannot be booked. Except for pit privies and toilet facilities, all shared facilities, such as showers, laundry facilities, cookhouses, playgrounds, clubhouses, communal fire pits and firewood distribution centres must remain closed. Food services are permitted using curbside pick-up or contactless delivery. We are asking all campers who visit Lumsden North Park adhere to all the COVID-19 Restrictions that are put in place under the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Orders.
