I think there is some price gouging going on. Higher demand for product doesnt increase prices. Suppliers taking advantage of a situation does however. We have seen increases of 20-25% in some products in the past few months. No justification for this.

More good news from people thinking outside the box. Weekly, we are given suggestions and requests to do communities like this for many different groups and people. The time is here for housing changes and Redwood Homes is glad to be on the leading edge of this movement in our province.

Please check out our new website. We have been listening, learning and narrowing our focus over the past 36-48 months. We are ready to move forward with our new business model, and of course, an online presence that was far too long coming. Later this summer we will have an interactive site that will allow people to build their own home online. In the meantime, I want to thank Victoria and Galen for helping us get a wonderful site up to start posting many of the things we have been learning about and focusing on. There is much more content to come, but here we start.

Joanne and I toured a manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, today. Great to see how more people are doing things as we work towards setting up our facility. A great day, and thanks to Elwin for arranging our visit.

The reality of life in the city. I think there is a better way. Toronto wages certainly don’t coincide with rent prices. Move to a smaller town, buy a lot, buy a Redwood Original tiny home and start your future of home ownership today.
