Big news/important post Hello everyone! It is true. The College of Massage Therapist’s of Ontario has given us the go ahead to gradually resume practice. I’m excited to get back to work. I’ve missed being in the clinic and doing what I love. Thursday June 4 will be my first day back in the clinic. ... As I’m sure you all have guessed things will be different. Very different. I’m going to ask you all for patience as this will will be a totally new normal for me to learn as well. I am committed to keeping you safe when you are in the clinic. I’m going to ask you that you do the same in return for me. I will be assessing you before treatment in accordance with the guidelines we have received the from CMTO. You will be re assessed every time you come into the clinic. You will wash and sanitize your hands before treatment. We will both have a mask on for the duration of the time you are in the clinic. Please bring your own mask if you can. If you do show any symptoms we will reschedule you for a later date when you are healthy. If you would like to book an appointment please send me a DM or text/call if you have my cell number. Online booking is still an option, but please try to leave some time and do not book online last minute. I’m going to be changing my hours slightly, putting a limit on the amount of people I see each day, and adding extra time to disinfect & clean between treatments. I promise to still get everyone in for treatment in a timely and fair manner. Without question this will be an adjustment for all. I promise to be committed to bringing all my energy to provide you with safe and effective treatments that will help you achieve your goals. Thank you all for the support before this and going forward. I can’t wait to see familiar faces and new ones back in the clinic. If you have any questions for me please don’t hesitate to reach out. Remember, we’re all in this together!

Are your hip flexors always tight even after stretching? Maybe they’re weak and in need of a little activation. Here’s an awesome hip flexor activation exercise that was shown to me by my high school track and cross country coaches. Focus on really driving that thigh into the opposite hand and holding that for 3-4 seconds, then switch legs and repeat until you feel a good burn. One of my new favourite exercises right here!!! #rmt #fst #micovskychiro #hipflexorstrength #runhappy #runhealthy #yqgrunning
Thanks to the @runningfactory for having me out last night at their marathon and 1/2 marathon clinic to talk a little bit about mobility for runners. It was a blast! Sending speedy and most importantly healthy vibes to all these runners as they chase all of their upcoming running goals. : @mng.videos #rmt #fst #runhappy #runningfactory #micovskychiro #runwindsor @ The Running Factory
Runners are predictable and repeat the same motion over and over again only moving forward and never using their hip stabilizing muscles. Here’s a personal favourite exercise of mine that I do before every run, to activate my hip stabilizers. Strength in these muscles might not propel your forward, but it will help prevent that lateral shift of the hips that leads to injuries and inefficient mechanics. So grab a band before your next run, perform this exercise and stop being so predictable! #rmt #micovskychiro #glutemedstrength #windsorrunning #runhealthy #runhappy
Most benefit plans will renew January 1. Get the most out of your 2019 extended health benefits, book in for a treatment and head into the holidays feeling good this year! #rmt #fst #micovskychiro #yqg #holidayseason
Hey everyone, here’s an awesome mobilization for the ankle and calf region. This is fantastic for anybody with tight calves or anyone looking to increase their squat depth. Combine this with some soft tissue work and Fascial stretching that I do at the clinic and watch how much better those lower legs will feel. Test your ankle mobility, give this exercise a go and then re test and watch how much of a difference this can make. #rmt #fst #micovskychiro #yqg #anklemobility
