3 days of installing, 3 houses. 3 complete railing systems ready for stain.

Part 4. the final stages of this complete renovation are finally coming to an end. here is some of the final and a near final photos of the inside. with no traces of the carpenter ants. This new room and new deck, can now be enjoyed by some very happy customers!

part 3. The glass sun room was taken down. the new patio door was installed. Then the building of the deck began. Once the deck was done and ready for shingles we moved back to the other side. making the desision of replacing the old roughted flat roofs with a sloped(pitch) roof. this way water would run off and also save problems in the future aswell as cost of roofing. The windows where then installed and we ate now ready for the next stages!

The work continues part 2. What we thought was a total eviction of the carpenter ants, led us to the next addition! literally! here we poured a beefy foundation wall on the footing.( its angled to match the existing floor and roof layout) , Next we backfilled and tamped it all down to final grade. Cement was poured with a broom finnish! The Patio door was then installed as well as the wall framing. while waiting for the windows to arrive. we could focus on the next addition. the sun room. This is where a little light was shined on how bad the situation was.

Once upon a time there was 2 types of carpenters, one was a destructive carpenter ant and the other was a constructive cartpenter human. This is a big renovation project we rebuilt. i will be posting it in stages. As you can see from the pictures the damage that was done was quite astonishing. this job all started with patio doors that would not open. from there discovies of never having a is footing or foundation is why the cement dropped and cracked. It was evident that the ants have eaten the the beams that hold up the windows and the roof! follow us in this journey to see who wins

Complete renovation on this project. removal of walls , old stairs and wall paneling. Then we installed drywall, moved some switches and outlets, built, stained/painted and installed brandnew new open riser white oak butcher block staircase 5" post, white oak rail and rod iron spindles.Then finnished off with new floors, trim and paint in the rest of the house.!
