I want to take this opportunity to thank the good samaritan who is leaving beautiful, dot painted, rocks at various households in Sable River. In this time of social distancing it is very uplifting to get one of these beautiful painted rocks. I am not sure who you are but if we are ever able to do workshops again at the SRCH perhaps you could lead a class for dot painting. Thank you for your generosity!! Wanda

Hi everyone, I would just like to say that in some ways we are lucky to live in a rural area. We can go outside and enjoy the fresh air, do some yard chores, and enjoy spring, a time of rebirth. I have been reading, baking, making jam, doing puzzles and knitting (I am doing a blanket of many colors, lol). I have also been working on some new workshops for the Community Hall and I am so excited for when things get back to our new normal and we can enjoy each others company! Stay safe! Wanda Buchanan

The Sable River Community Hall would like to thank everyone who donated lobster, scallops, fish, and potatoes to our Seafood Chowder supper. A special thank you to Jackie for making her famous chowder!! We so appreciate everyone who helped serve and clean up, all those people who donated money, food items, and baked goods to our event, and to all those people who attended our event. This has been one of our most successful fundraising events to date, raising over $2000, with... more coming in, and we couldn't have done it without your support!!!
