Hebrews 11:6 ESV God rewards those who seek him diligently. What an encouraging promise for us. ... A classic example from the scriptures is the life of Ruth. Though she was born and raised in a gentile culture, when she came to know the living God, she put her full faith in God and sought him diligently. We can see how determined she was, when we read her bold assertion in response to Naomi. Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you. Ruth 1:16-17 ESV. Ruth’s unwavering faithful seeking of the true living God was truly rewarded by God. Later, we read Boaz bless her saying The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge! Ruth 2:12 ESV. Besides blessing Ruth with a happy family life more than what she could have imagined and expected, God also graciously placed her as part of Christ’s genealogy (Matt 1:5). What a great honour and privilege. Dear Brother and Sister, Perhaps, you are in the same situation as Ruth today. But, seek the Lord wholeheartedly, and don’t give up and God will surely reward you. Amen.

We lift up every family and friends of our fallen men and women in uniform. We pray that Your peace and presence will continue to keep them and give them hope. Help us to remember and cherish the sacrifices of our fallen soldiers, know...ing that they didn't die in vain, but secured the freedom and liberty for the generations to follow. Today, for each military member and their families, we ask and pray for Your divine protection and provision. We seek Your protection for soldiers who are in service and here at home for their families. Also, provision for them all by Your hand of grace and mercy because of the great sacrifices they continue to make every day. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, Who also died for our freedom we ask.. Amen.

Torrential heavy rains have flooded major parts of Telangana, Andhra, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The city of Hyderabad has been worst affected with heavy floods in the low-lying areas, triggering roof and wall collapses, prompting the evacuation of some 80,000 people to relief camps and claiming at least 30 lives. The Bible exhorts believers to be thankful to God and express their thanks in all circumstances. A question arises, as to how one can be thankful when life is faced with so much challenges and questions because of the current COVID19 related conditions around the world. As Canada celebrates Thanksgiving amidst this pandemic this message encourages us to still be thankful to God irrespective of the circumstances we are in. Based on the scriptures, we are going to unpack 4 fundamental truths. 1. In all circumstances, trust that God is by your side in your midst, even if you may feel lonely and fighting by yourself. 2. In all circumstances, trust that God is in total control of your situation, no matter how hard and impossible it seems. 3. In all circumstances, trust that God has a perfect plan for you according to His will. 4. In all circumstances, trust that God wants us to bring Him glory through our faithful response to the situation.
