Happy Friday SACHM Fam! Today’s feature goes to Kazia Katende! Kazia is a mother of 6 and a youth worker. She has lived in Regina for 13 years and is passionate about the well being of others. An activist involved with The Congolese Organization of Calgary, Alberta, Kazia brings awareness to the trials faced by many Congolese women. Kazia works to empower young women and girls and continue her work through SACHM as well. Thank you Kazia for all that you do!
Happy Feature Friday Friends!! Today, SACHM would like to feature, Larry Hesterman, SACHM's newest board member! A semi-retired businessman, Larry has served on many boards including the Bob Adam's Foundation and is a former board member and executive director of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. His involvement in many philanthropic endeavors and commitment to displaying SACHM material in museums throughout Saskatchewan as well as his business acumen has added great value to our SACHM board. Outside of this, Larry is a Masters swimmer and track athlete. He enjoys traveling, conducting business and spending time with family. Thank you Larry & welcome to the SACHM Board!

Happy Feature Friday! Today SACHM would like to feature our very own Phil Price! Phil enjoyed an 8-year career in professional football playing for the NFL & CF...L with the Oakland Raiders, Montreal Alouettes, Edmonton Eskimos and finally as a Defensive Back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In semi-retirement he sparked his love of painting & owns Philly’s Painting in Regina. Phil has 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren and one step-son. Phil and his wife Joan are happily enjoying their semi-retirement in Saskatchewan. Thank you Phil for your membership and service to SACHM since 2011. Have wonderful Friday! Go Riders! See more

As a Black American whose maternal Eve’s roots go back to Africa, Michelle has always been intrigued by the beauty and culture of the African and Caribbean society.... A native of Birmingham, Alabama and a resident of Canada since 2007, she enjoys being a Community Volunteer at Soul Harbour Rescue Mission , The Regina REALM Foundation and Dr. Perry Elementary School. Michelle is an active member of the Links Incorporated, The Girl Friends Incorporated, P.E.O. and the Council of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Thank you for Michelle!
