BEHIND THE SCENES Check out these winning creations we received for our annual Sackville Snow Days Snowman Contest! The judges were in for a treat this year with such great displays of creativity. Gold Winner: Alison Flynn with the biggest snowman in the world, as stated by the two little ladies pictured. ... Silver Winner: Carol Cole with a snowman "chillin' out maxin' relaxin' in Beaver Bank!" Check out the foreword by Russell Grosse, Executive Director at the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia. Russell Grosse shares that the 2021 provincial theme is "Black History Matters: Listen, Learn, Share and Act." Talent includes vocalist and guitarist Mark Riley, Melly Ross with the Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Mahalia Smith and Keonté Beals. Hosted by CIOE Music Director Cecil Wright.
