Theres a lot of important information for parents out there right now, and it can be confusing. This flowchart will clarify isolation requirements and help par...ents respond to illness in their children. All isolation requirements are determined by Alberta Health Services. You can access the AHS self-assessment and book testing by visiting their website: https://bit.ly/3moLD7R
Make sure youre familiar with your schools drop-off and pickup zonesand where they are in relation to the designated entrance/exit doors for students. The morning rush and after-school pickups are the busiest timesand they could be even longer this year, as some schools adopt staggered drop-off and pickup schedules. We all have more on our minds these days and with children wearing masks, theyll have reduced vision, so make sure to scan between parked cars, avoid bus zones, dont stop near crosswalks or let passengers out in the middle of the road. Help reinforce the safety message by leaving a few minutes early and taking your time. Learn more at amainsider.com/schoolzonetips
Parents/guardians of symptomatic students are asked to complete the self-assessment on the Alberta Health Services website or call 811 to determine if their child needs to be tested for COVID-19 and/or to arrange testing at an appropriate facility. To determine when your child can return to school, please refer to the attached flow chart.

Dear Sacred Heart Families, I am sure that you are all wondering about the return to school for your children. I want you to know that we are working closely with our school district and Alberta Health to ensure the best possible return to school for our students. Last week you would have been sent information from our Central Office about the re-entry plans for schools. Also you would have been sent a survey to fill out about your intentions for your child/childrens return ...to school. Please take the time to complete this survey by Aug 15th. This information will be very important in helping us determine if we will be offering any type of online schooling or just in school learning. Please know that we are working hard to ensure a safe return to school. Take care and God bless!
