Today 4 senior high ladies earned the Senior Starlet Award for continuously making an effort to come to school. Congrats Justine, Desiree, Diamond, and Patty!
Thank you to Pastor Dave Labdon from St. Aidan’s Anglican Church for sharing the Word with us in Chapel this morning.... Atonement is taking the blame for something you haven’t done. Maximilian Clobe- asked permission to take a prisoner’s place. He died so the other person could live in Auschwitz. Jesus is taking the penalty we deserve for going away from God. ... God has a right to judge us. We can’t pay our own penalty, so Jesus came to pay our penalty for our sins on the cross. Atonement is the foundation on which we can build our life. The Lord makes us right and clean with God. He washes us clean. New creation: old is gone, new has come. God can help us begin again. Whatever you’ve done, God can forgive you if you just say sorry and trust God in faith. See more

Thank you to JJ from Inner City Youth Alive for teaching us the Word in Chapel! ..... Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Righteousness= doing what is right. But what is right?... Luke 6- What are the values of the Kingdom of God? God values and poor and the broken and those who have been pushed to the outside. Love your enemies, and do good to those who hate you. We can’t do this on our own. We need to hand our life over to God in order to do this! He can love through us. Pray: Lord teach us to love like You love. Amen. See more

Mr. Kent Dueck, the founder of Inner City Youth Alive, challenged us in Chapel yesterday.... ...Who will you be 10 years from now? ...You can never judge a person’s future based on their present circumstances. ...John 5- Jesus asks: Do you want to get well? Sometimes we get hooked into who people see us as. ...When the lame man was healed, he got up and lived differently.... ...God has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 What a great word! See more
