Greetings from Unison HCS - Oakwood-Vaughan, As you may be aware, Unison HCS has partnered with Davenport Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre and P...lanned Parenthood Toronto to create Edge Oakwood-Vaughan, the newest Unison HCS location. This location will bring free and confidential medical, sexual health, mental health and substance use services to the community in one convenient location. Earlier this year, we chose 25 artists to help beautify our new space. To celebrate the beginning of demolition of 501 Oakwood avenue and to share our three top artists from the competition, we have a number of pop up events happening. At the Sneak Peak event on November 15th, 4PM -7PM, we will be giving the first peak in of the new site located at 501 Oakwood Avenue. We will have a spotlight on the artists who participated in the Visual Voices Art competition. At the Pre-Demolition Artist Appreciation Party on November 22nd, 4PM-7PM, the top three artists as determined by our judges will be announced and awarded. Both events will have hor d'oeuvres, beverages and visuals of our 2018 events. Community members, artists, family and friends are invited. Though, an RSVP is not required to enter the events, RSVPs assist us in making informed decisions during the planning stages.
