Thank you to those who came out to Family Friend training this past Saturday. It was a pleasure to get to know one another and we are so encouraged by our volunteers. I am also grateful to have experienced the love of this supporting community when I received difficult news that day. Your prayers and love put on display what community support looks like in action. RESOURCE FRIENDS: I have a single mom with a 2 year old. She has been in a homeless shelter for two months, she is has been actively looking but is struggling to find a place. LOOKING FOR WORK A single mom that is part of a Safe Family circle of support wants to work . She has certificates as a Developmental Services Worker and Community Support Worker and has worked as a PSW , also willing to do customer service or office work.
