Before we started out the development of V2 platform, we had collected as much feedback as we could with our existing customers. The primary focus of V2 was on "user experience". We need to make the user interface as simple as possible. To a point, we felt, anyone who knows how to use a mouse, will be able to operate our application without any problem. All operations must be felt natural to human. We only display right information at the right place, at right time, so that w...e don't overwhelm users with information that don't particularly useful. The second focus was to provide more artificial intelligent assistance. The cellphone network, highrise buildings, tall trees, natural storms and other sources of interference can often cause confusing or even misleading results on the online app. We have designed/implemented as much AI as we could to detect and correct those points. This is all done under the hood, on the fly, so that the user experience will not be compromised. The third focus was to provide a cross platform, universally accessible application. For that goal, we had to ditch flash based design that we had previously. We started from ground zero, and build up using only pure Javascript/HTML5. The result is an application that works on all major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera etc) on all platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac), and on all modern mobile devices such as (iOS, Andriod, Windows mobile, Blackberry based phones and tablets). To all fronts, we felt we have largely accomplished our design targets. The final result is the most easy to use tracking platform in the market.
