Nice work BC Ferries! A woman's life saved with CPR and no disruption to ferry service!
Three hours is too long to wait for an ambulance. BC Firefighters are only allowed to attend the most serious and life-threatening calls now to avoid spreading COVID-19 further. This will result in more deaths but what is the solution?
You thought you had a tough week with kids going back to school, COVID worries, smoky skies and a ridiculously unnecessary moth invasion, but I ask you. Did you spare a thought for CPR, Annie? No, I thought not! Not only has our trusty CPR manikin had to wear a face mask for up to 8 hours a day, but she's had to endure comments about her skinny (pool noodle) legs, sad expression "Cheer up Annie!" oddly tinted running shoes and overly flexible arms. The next time you're feel...ing sorry for yourself, spare a thought for Pool Noodle Annie she has it worse. Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe!
Smart people learn from the mistakes of others. Here’s one of mine. I hope reading this saves your life one day.

If you are outside when a thunderstorm starts, stay away from water, since it's an excellent conductor of electricity. If you are in a boat, get to land as quic...kly as possible, and avoid swimming. Be careful around creeks and rivers that may be subject to flash flooding during a severe storm. #stormsafety See more

Thank you to Derek Hall and Natasha Dickson for inviting us to train your team.
