Haven't posted anything on here in a while so thought I would start things up again. The weather is getting warmer which means more wildlife photography! Here are some shots from last summer. Haven't been able to get out to any music events lately due to the virus but hopefully everything settles down soon and local musicians/artists are able to put on shows again. The beginning of an installation depicting the sculptural networking of mycelium Made with various fibres coated in a natural cornstarch glue to create an infrastructure similar to that of vegetative mycorrhizal fungi. Mycelium is a sensitive underground threadlike network of fungal roots that allows trees and other organisms in a forest to communicate with each other. This system makes it possible for trees to transfer nutrients to one another and to warn other trees ab...out nearby stressors such as logging or forest fires.
