The more Feed-the-Hungry events our volunteers do, the more space we need to carry large tubs of the meals - especially at St Mary's Dining Room in Stockton, CA... and the Salvation Army shelter in San Jose, CA. The Dhaliwal family (Bay Area) generously donated their truck so that we could make a bigger and more efficient impact locally! Thank you for thinking of Sahaita! And special thanks to Bay Star Auto in Union City and Singh Signs in Fremont for making sure the truck was good to go, inside and out! See more

Here is an a comprehensive go-to resource for Sahaita's Farmer Support Project. Amidst all the sharing, tweeting, commenting, messaging, tagging, emailing and m...ore - let's clarify a few things! (1) There are 2 ways of contributing to this initiative. You can either donate $500 to "adopt" (sponsor) a family, which allows communication between you and the family. (There is no obligation to communicate but building those relationships would be extremely beneficial in encouraging hope and guidance). To support multiple families you may do so in multiples of the estimated $500. OR you can commit any smaller amount to the project as a whole. Funds like these will be pooled and distributed to families as needed. This path would not ensure communication since the funds will be from various donors. (2) Not all families in the program have been affected by suicide. Some are simply struggling to survive. You can be the reason that they thrive. Just lend your helping hand at www.sahaita.org/donate to make a difference from a grassroots level, literally and figuratively! We hope this helps!
