Teddy currently is a hurricane southeast of Bermuda. The system is forecast to arrive in Atlantic Canada on Tuesday with track and intensity uncertainty. Some m...embers have already chosen to remove their boats and many others are intending to come out this weekend. Starting Saturday, the parking lot will be closed to all except those removing boats. Those participating in the Fitzroy Rock race are asked to park elsewhere, for example the Queens Wharf parking lot. If you already put your boat in the parking lot but intend to take it somewhere else for winter storage, please remove it as soon as possible to make room for trailers and boats being removed. Call ahead if you plan to use a crane or the boat ramp. Time slots are rapidly filling up. Follow the NOAA and Environment Canada hurricane forecasts to make decisions about securing boats and infrastructure. Remember to follow CYC's COVID operating procedures. Stay safe. See more
