Thanks Lynn, glad Ron had a great sail. Looks like good wind all week and members can now book online
Boats are safe, sound and being protected by our local geese! Quite the summer weather we have had so far
Application for 2020 Season Membership Open! We are so pleased to be offering sailing to our Members this season. We're off. Thank Ron for taking the inguinal sail to kick of the season. We are super excited to be one of the only if not the only, adaptive sailing program operating this year. ... A big thanks to our Board and volunteers for getting us up and running. Let's stay safe and take care of one another.
Happy Canada Day! Exciting news! We will be starting sails next week. Membership requests will be available online Friday July 3rd. See everyone soon on the water! DSAO Board of Directors

Update: We are aware of the Provincial Government opening up boat clubs and sailing - there are still restrictions that affect our operations. The Board will discuss best practices in order to start our season as quickly and as safe as possible. Stay tuned, Stay safe!
The DSAO has lined up a source for masks (both KN95 and non-N95) from a Health Canada approved supplier as well as non-latex gloves. If we can get a group together, we can make a group purchase. This offer is open to all DSAO members, friends, families and the general public so please feel free to share this message. #togetherwearestronger contact: [email protected]
Great new DSAO video that was shot last summer and shown to Members at the AGM today. Thank you Liam Afonso for shooting this video in conjunction with the RBC150 Award given to the DSAO by RBC's Maria Trott. Thanks #rbc #rbc150 for your support
That's a wrap. Due to circumstances surrounding the SARS pandemic, the Club held it's first ever virtual AGM. Once the formal business part was completed we moved on to wonderful social gathering, featuring a musical performance by Natasha and Adam. The DSAO would like to welcome new board members, Joanne and Sandra and thank Jo and Martha for all their hard work. We're excited to get this season started.
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter! - stay safe and please reach out to us, friends or family. We will get through this and hopefully be out on the water soon. Remember to check out our active community site on Facebook as many of our members are posting regularly. All the best, Amanda xox
Here is our very own Natasha Mulligan singing Angel From Montgomery to mark the passing of John Prine from COVID-19. A song and a voice that makes the darkest days seem brighter. We can't wait for this to be over so we can try to convince Natasha to play this for us live. #theworldneesmoretashrightnow
