Let’s talk about the No Hat rule. Guidelines state hair needs to be clean for us to cut it. So yes, you wash jt, it’s clean, you put a hat on that has had sweat, everyday dirt and grease on it, product build up, etc- dirty. You leave your house and go into the heat and humidity. A portion of your body heat leaves your body through your head and with no way for your head to breathe, you start to sweat and now your hair is dirtier. So even though it may not be a big deal to some, we are following the rules to the letter because we believe every business should be doing the bare minimums and then some to make sure the people around us are safe so that during the second wave, we have proven that some barbershops and salons can follow rules and should not be closed down again. PS: Dale, wash your hat.

We have new guidelines to announce but more importantly, we unequivocally and without any question stand behind the Black Lives Matter movement. Saying "all lives matter" and saying "yeah but ________ happened to _______" dilutes the issue and right now there's a massive issue with systematic racism, discrimination and murder of the black community. Well above the issue of not being able to get a haircut without a mask, the first guideline we are announcing is we will not tol...erate any of this dismissive behaviour. If you have said or shared "all lives matter" and want to debate your stance, please take an hour, sit down and look inside yourself to look at what you're saying and how you're dismissing centuries of violence and oppression to a race of living, breathing and feeling human beings. Because you THINK you are right in your conviction of all lives matter, unfortunately, facts, evidence, proof and statistics prove you are wrong and there is a massive issue with that statement.
