Tis' the season of giving...

Dear Grassroots and Excel Academy participants, Our Region has returned to the Orange Phase and that will mean some changes to the way we deliver our sessions at the Irving Oil Field House. Our Technical Director and all of our coaches will be following the return to play guidelines for the Orange Phase from the Government of NB and Soccer NB when developing session plans. Our club went through this in the summer and it worked quite well. Our session times have not changed and our COVID protocols will remain the same, you will just notice changes to the way the participants are organized and separated during on-field training. There will definitely be more of a focus on skills and drills rather than open scrimmages where more contact can occur. Take care and thanks for your continued support!

Good afternoon everyone, Unfortunately we have to cancel the upcoming PD Camp which was scheduled for December 4th, 2020. Due to being in Level Orange the Government of New Brunswick has communicated with us that we are not permitted to hold day camps at this time. All registrations will be cancelled and a credit placed on your account. If you prefer a refund please email [email protected]... Dear Saint John Soccer Club members, Our soccer club is looking to fill the following roles: #1 Competitive Coordinator: The Coordinator of Competition shall: ... Attend all Board meetings of the Association; Act as the liaison to teams and members in the competitive stream; Be responsible for messages from the Technical Director and the Association pertaining to those involved (IE: Coaches, Players, Managers, and Parents); Distribute equipment at the start of seasons and retrieve equipment at season’s end; Shall be involved with player and coach discipline. This could involve a discipline committee; Report to the Vice President prior to board meetings to provide updates on their areas for Executive Report. #2 Grassroots Coordinator: The Coordinator of Grassroots shall: Attend all Board meetings of the Association; Act as the liaison to teams and members in the Grassroots stream; Be responsible for messages from the Technical Director and the Association pertaining to those involved (IE: Coaches, Players, Managers, and Parents); Distribute equipment at the start of seasons and retrieve equipment at season’s end; Shall perform field visits to each field that Grassroots soccer is played, at least twice over the course of the season; Report to the Vice President prior to board meetings to provide updates on their areas for Executive Report. Secretary - Carla Martell Field/Facility Coordinator- Ben Curry Competitive Coordinator- Vacant Grassroots Coordinator- Vacant Referee Coordinator- Rich Mitchell Head of IT- Heather Morrison (maternity leave) Head of Fundraising/sponsorship- Mark Fournier We are excited to announce that Mark Coakley has stepped into the role of Technical Director. We are sad to said that Mike Foster, our Grassroots Coordinator has decided to step down. As it must have been a tough decision for Mike, we would like to give a special thank you for all of his hard work and time over the years.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Grassroots Coordinator, Mike Foster for all of his contributions to SJSC over the years. Mike has been a caring friend of the club for many years, and has encouraged children in our community to get involved in organized sport.
