Two Services this Sunday at 10am and 5pm Don't forget to turn your clock back an hour on Saturday evening! In-person worship and livestreaming of the Eucharist for this Sunday, November 1st takes place at 10am. Everyone who wishes to attend must register by email or phone. Please Email the church office at [email protected] or phone 604-581-4800 and leave a message. You will receive confirmation to attend. Evening Prayer will take place at 5pm in anticipation of All... Souls. This will take place both inside the church and outdoors as we place candles on the graves in the cemetery. Also, this Sunday as we celebrate All Saints and because of Social Distancing protocols, the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster is not being organized as a diocesan service but is being celebrated in individual parishes. St. Helen's will have Lynn Turner, currently the Rector's Warden, be given the Order at the 10 am service. See more

Reign of Christ Sunday and the Annual Bazaar Hi Everyone, this Sunday, November 22nd is the end of the Liturgical year as we celebrate the Reign of Christ. As you know there are huge restrictions in gathering for the next number of weeks or longer so we have had to suspend our in-person gatherings for worship on Sunday mornings. The service this Sunday we be one of Morning Prayer with just the necessary number of people there to be able to facilitate the Livestream service.... You will find the service starting right here on our Facebook page at 10am. The service sheet will be uploaded to our parish website and it will be emailed out in an email blast to our parish email list. THE BAZAAR - As you know, this normally would have been our weekend for the annual bazaar. A couple of weeks ago we sent out in our newsletter, a request for those who would have baked, made preserves, made purchases, come to buy lunch, or all of the above, if they would make a special donation in lieu of our having a bazaar. If you would like to make that particular donation, you can send a cheque to St. Helen's through the post. On your donation cheque you can write in the memo field, 'Bazaar' . Or, more simply, you can make your donation by Interac E-Transfer direct to the church's account at Vancity Credit Union. Great News for our Harvest Service - We will have an In-Person Eucharist service this Sunday, October 11th at 10am to celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving. We will also livestream the service as usual. Our protocols for attendance at the service means you will need to register beforehand. We are limited in the number of people attending, so please do register as soon as you can. Please say who you are (either in the email or the voicemail) and who is coming with you if you are a family. Your attendance will be confirmed. The election of our bishop co-adjutor, who will take over from Archbishop Melissa after her retirement at the end of February 2021 has taken place. The Rev. This Sunday, September 20th join our Livestream service beginning at 10am. How does leadership lead through uncertain times. What's the plan? Where's the map. Who makes the decisions? Moses and Jesus know all about it. Hey Moses... Moses and the people are on the move. They successfully crossed the Red Sea but the people have more complaints to bring to the leadership, namely Moses. Jesus tells a story about those who are not grateful for what they have received. Forgiveness is a huge part of being able to keep one's balance as we journey through this world. It is like a balancing pole a tight rope walker might use as she or he keeps their eyes on their goal. Good Evening everyone. The news regarding Jonathan Pinkney's new place of ministry has just been announced by the Diocese. Jonathan will be the curate at Christ Church Cathedral in Vancouver.
