Here's what happens when you don't give up. Tenacity is an absolute asset in Musky fishing no matter what gets thrown at you. Bill jumped in the boat in the early morning with hopes of landing his first musky. Conditions were prime but the fish just wouldn't cooperate. We covered water, fished through blazing hot temperatures, dodged thunder storms and were eventually forced to get off the water after about 9 fish-less hours. I've seen many anglers throw in the towel and hea...d home at this point but Bill was determined and stayed positive which is huge in this game. I always ask clients to bring their PMA (positive musky attitude). The skies cleared and we hit the water again. With the sun setting we could feel the clock ticking and just as dusk set in Bill hooked and played a very big fish nearly to the boat. Sometimes they get off, and this time it was just a deflating feeling for every man on the boat. Losing sun light fast we fished on in to the "bottom of the 9th" and oh what a feeling when Bill's rod buckled again! This time he made sure of it, the fish hit the net and the smile in the pic says the rest! Definitely one of the most memorable moments of the season. See more
