Saint Matthew Parish 23.11.2020

Plenty of prep-work going on in the basement these days. We’re still not sure what (if any) new restrictions we might face, but with our team of amazing staff and volunteers we can tackle anything!

Thanks to Mirella Semple, we now have these (and many more) BEAUTIFUL fall pictures of the church and property. The talent present in our community never ceases to amaze. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook posts as we start to put these amazing pieces of art to good use.

Just a reminder folks: The priests and staff of St. Matthew Parish never solicit donations directly by email/online message. If you receive such a request in one of our names, it’s a fake and should be deleted. Also, we only send emails from our official @hamiltondiocese.com accounts. Contact the parish office if you’re unsure of anything.

Congratulations to Lyza and Zachary who were married in our church yesterday afternoon. The beautiful flower arrangements left behind will adorn three celebrations of Baptism today and a fleet of weekend Masses.

All set for our 22nd (and final) First Communion Mass this morning for those who had missed their First Communion in the spring. Congratulations to all who received Jesus in the Eucharist over the last number of weeks. Many thanks to our amazing volunteers who helped ensure these celebrations went smoothly... and safely!

November is a month for remembering the faithful departed. Our Book of Remembrance takes a slightly different shape this year, but it’s just as beautiful a practice as ever. Fill out a slip or drop off/email us a list of names you’d like added and we’ll take care of the rest.
