The Sugluk Band turned recordings of two singles into extensive tours that spanned two decades. They also showed Inuit youth that they should take the Inuktitut language to audiences across the globe. We want to hear from Indigenous artists who haven't performed at the skihiw festival and acts who want to update us on their recent accomplishments. Submissions and updates for the 2021 edition of the skihiw festival are now being accepted. Details: https://lnk.to/sakihiwe2021call... The festival will include a mix of live and online performances, which will be used in an online broadcast set for the end of August. The submission deadline is Thursday, January 7 at 11:59 pm CST.
