Hello our dear customers and friends, We hope everyone is doing well and safe!! It's been three years since we opened our restaurant -- and it has been a precious and happy time for us. Thank you to our wonderful customers and the people of the Cobourg.... As many of you know, Kelvin and I have been at the restaurant all day, every day. We've had almost no time off during these three years, so we've decided to set a little time aside for once a month. We will be open as usual -- *except* for the last Sunday of each month. We will close one extra day per month to allow ourselves and our staff a two-day weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you kindly for understanding We will be closed on the following days: July 26th August 30th September 27th October 25th November 29th December 27th Please take note of these dates and share with your friends! Hello our dear Cobourg community! We hope everyone is still healthy and safe at home. Our staff is doing well. We are healthy and safe at Sakura Sushi Cobourg. Firstly, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for your support, encouragment, and warm hearts. Also, we are so grateful you love our food. We are so appreciative. ... We are still open for take out ONLY during our regularly hours (closed Mondays). We remain open Tuesday-Saturday 11:30 am to 9 pm ( last order 8:30 pm ) and Sunday 11:30 am to 8:00 pm (last order 7:30 pm). As you know, our food takes more time to prepare. Due to a high number of orders, our pick-up times are getting slightly delayed, and there are times when you come to pick up and have to wait. We sincerely apologize for this. We would like to kindly request that on weekends or holidays, you place orders well in advance. Please place orders a couple or few hours ahead of time to allow us to accommodate your desired pick-up times. Recently, Kelvin and I have been deeply touched by our customers and the residents of Cobourg. We are so proud and happy to be members of such a lovely, supportive community. Hello our dear customers and residents, I am Kelvin and I am Jennifer's husband. Due to my level of English, I have asked for help from a friend to deliver this message to you.... It is because I really wanted to thank our customers and residents. Jennifer and I moved to Cobourg from South Korea in 2015. We don't have any other family living in Canada besides just two of us. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it has been quite challenging time for everyone. Currently, we are only doing take-out and the business has certainly slowed down. My mother in South Korea worries about us (Jennifer and I), worrying about the business and the wellbeing. Jennifer, I and the rest of our team are trying our best to overcome this hardship. However, the reason I felt SO TOUCHED during this difficult time is that all the kind and warm gestures shown from the CUSTOMERS and RESIDENTS of COBOURG COBOURG DOWNTOWN has been putting efforts in advertising small businesses by posting messages. Customers are continuing to support us by ordering takeouts, and give us words of comfort and courage when they come to pick up. Yesterday, I told my mother, "Please don't worry about us. I am living in a town with so many WARM - HEARTED PEOPLE. They worry about is, console us and help us. We are doing okay and don't feel lonely." I really appreciate your kindness and wanted to thank everyone for your kind words and heart. But due to my level of English, the only thing I was able to say when customers come is "Thank you so much" Thus I really wanted to express MY DEEPEST GRATITUDE to everyone. Dear friends and customers of Sakura Sushi Cobourg, With Ontario’s prevention of COVID-19 now in full swing, we are suspending dine-in service. As of Tuesday, March 17, 2020, our dining room is closed until further notice. We will continue to offer take-out service until Ontario Health deems it safe to reopen.... We are, of course, taking extra precautions to ensure that all kitchen, take-out, and public areas are rigorously cleaned and disinfected for your safety as well as ours.
