Thank you, Alice, for doing such a lovely job with the flowers.

For those looking for information on when things may begin to happen at the club again, the executive has been working diligently to put a plan to together to allow for the safe return to the bowling season. They are currently awaiting approval from Bowls BC/Interior Lawn Bowling association of the plan to determine if the scheduled reopening date of June 1st will go ahead. Bowling times will be Mondays and Fridays 1pm. Tuesday and Thursdays 7pm. Fees are pro-rated to $90 pe...r full member, $15 social member. If we cannot start until July it will be pro-rated accordingly. Please see below the proposed guidelines that will be in place for the bowling season this year. 1. The front door will NOT be used. There will be signage to direct you to an ENTRY door and an EXIT door at the back. This is to facilitate social distancing. 2. Please bring your own sanitizer or wipes to wipe your bowls and any other personal items that may be touched by other members. e.g. after the bowls are collected at the end of each end, sitting on benches. 3. There will be cleaning stations in the clubhouse, please sanitize you hands upon arrival. 4. Please wipe down the bathrooms after you use them, including the door handle. 5. Maintain social distancing. 6. You will be required to sign in before bowling starts. NAME, DATE, TIME, HEALTH DECLARATION, TRAVEL INFORMATION, SIGNATURE. 7. Masks are optional. Please respect those who choose to wear one and those who do not. 8. Teams will be made up of 2 or 3 people. 9. Vern and anyone else who arrives early will sanitize the equipment to be used, mats etc. 10. Each team will wipe off their bench. 11. Bring your own drinks, if you forget you can use the tap in the kitchen and a paper cup, please wipe the tap after you use it. The water dispenser is de-activated. 12. We will buy as many wipes as we can, these can be sold to anyone who forgets to bring their own. 13. There will be no card games until things are back to normal 14. If members wish to meet (with social distancing) in the grounds they are welcome. Please remember to be kind, respectful and have fun. Watch the page for further updates.
Please note that as of Friday, the club will be closed to all activities until further notice. As will keep the page updated as we know more about when we will be able to resume activities at the club. Please stay safe, healthy and enjoy the warmer weather.
Thank you Observer!
