Salem Dance Company is back in action! . Interested to join one of our teams? AUDITIONS for Season 2 will be held on Sat, Aug 29th 2-4pm .... We are looking to add committed and passionate dancers to our Student, Amateur, and Semi Pro Teams. . Teams will be focusing on learning variety of Latin Rhythms as well as other styles to be a well rounded dancer. . We will be training to achieve strong technique, develop our own unique style, as well as on creating a strong performance. . DETAILS: Auditioning currently for 3 levels of teams - Luna team: student team suitable best for beginner dancers that have little or no performance experience (Practices are on Saturdays 1-3pm) - Apollo team: amateur team best suited for intermediate level dancers with some previous performance experience (Practices are on Saturdays 3-5pm) - Freya team: Semi-pro Competitive team best suited for experienced dancers (Practices are on Saturdays 11am-1pm) . TIME/DATE: Sat, Aug 29th 2-4pm ADDRESS: Egyptian Dance Academie 211 Danforth Ave (5min walk from Broadview station) 2nd Floor . MINIMUM COMMITMENT to the team is 6 months . GOALS: by the end of 6th month we will film professionally our new routine as well as do a photoshoot with all the teams. . As you know due to Covid all of the Congresses and Festivals have been postponed which means that there is not many opportunities for performances. Although if anything comes along such as online shows or any small local events, teams will have an opportunity to perform. . **** - Auditions will be held in 2-3 groups that will have designated time slots in order to social distance.
