Ok so Summer is here all right! And Vacation time! This whole week will be our last week of work till vacation. Saturday (July 23) is the tearoom and Bakery's last day. And will return Tuesday August 9th. So, if there is anything you need such as a quick fix of shortbread or a hankering for scones, come and get them this week....Otherwise you will have to wait 2 weeks! See you in August.

We've been experiencing some technical difficulties with our facebook page. In the very near future we should have this thing up and running to keep you up to date with whats new and exciting at Gryphon. We apologize for this, thank you for understanding and come and eat a scone!

Well Here it is April, we are all getting ready for trees blooming and the smell of Springtime flowers, in the meantime come down to The Tearoom and enjoy a cup of tea and fresh baked scones to help you cope with the "winter blues" ........ Easter is coming up, and thats a deffinite sign that summer is on the way...... Keep smiling!!!

Smells of fresh-baked Soda Bread, Guinness Beef Stew, Sticky Toffee Pudd. with Caramel/Bushmill's Sauce......it all adds up to a very Irish menu for St. Patrick's Day! So "Top o' the morning to you", we're open till 8p.m. tonight!

A perfect Autumn day but we're so busy inside baking our famous cookies (check out Starbucks\Chateau Champlain and Mtl. Gen.'s Hospitality Corner)...over thirty dozen this morning. The smell of homemake cookies baking: Oatmeal Choc. Chip; Raisin or old-fashioned plain....perfect for a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack (and we are zero-trans fat, too, so it's a guilt-reducing treat!)

The bakery smells of pumpkin pies baking; the Tea Room smells of Beef slow-cooking in a savoury red wine stew. perfect for what is actually not such a nice day, weather-wise. We're open till 8:00p.m. tonight but closed all weekend (from Sat. through to Tues. at 10:00a.m.!).

Cooler fall weather predicted for next week so the Tea Room will be offering heartier fare...and check out our fresh-baked Pumpkin Pies and Butter Tarts! Order now to make sure your Thanksgiving Celebrations are complete with the homemade, traditional tastes of good things from Gryphon!
