We have been a proud Green Circle Salon @greencirclesalons since 2016! Green Circle Salons offers a simple but powerful green strategy that helps salons reduce their eco-footprint, save money, and gain new customers looking for genuine green options. It offers a proven pathway for members to achieve success in the short term and be sustainable into the future. At each of our salons and spas, the by-products of a haircut and colour are sorted into respective bins the...n shipped to Maritime Beauty Supply for reuse and environment-friendly recycling. Hair is packed into boxes and couriered to be re-purposed to create mats, called oil booms, that can absorb oil spills. Hair absorbs oil and can be wrung out and re-used. Foils and aluminum tubes can be used multiple times when specially recycled. The hair colour no longer needs to be rinsed down the sink into our local water systems. An innovative waste-to-energy solution allows all the hair colour by-product to be transformed into energy through a specialized incineration process. Happy Earth Day Everyone! See more

Last year, Adsum for Women & Children helped more than 200 women and 500 children enjoy a wonderful Christmas with many gifts for adults and their children. Once again this holiday season, we reached out to our salons and asked them to participate in the Adsum for Women & Children Family Sponsorship Program. With their help, we were able to take care of 9 families' holiday wish lists! Along with many more donated toys and PJs from our Children's Holiday Party. ... Our associates went shopping for their families over the last few weeks and yesterday we had the pleasure of delivering the gifts to Adsum for Women & Children. Thank you so much to our incredible people for their generosity, kindness and passion for helping others in their community - you make us so proud. Every year we hold a team building and educational retreat called Summit, where all associates have the opportunity to hear world class industry speakers, celebrate special achievements, and bond with their team mates.
