Hello everyone! First of all, I would like to say I hope you are all doing well and staying safe (and sane ). I miss you all and can’t wait for this to be over so I can see you all again. As we continue to stay safe at home I have been getting a lot of inquiries about what to do with those BEAUTIFUL roots coming in. As hard as this is- I DO NOT suggest going and getting a box colour. Again, I will say I DO NOT SUGGEST PUTTING A BOX COLOUR ON YOUR HAIR! There are a few re...asons for this. First of all to all my BLONDE clients.... the colour of blonde that you are is most likely NOT achievable with a box. They do not get the level of lift, so you will end up with a MUCH warmer and darker tone of blonde on your roots. (Even if you go with the lightest blonde possible.) Box colour is also known to stain the hair. Which may not seem like a big deal, but when the time comes for me to fix it - it will be VERY hard to remove that colour from your hair. To all my BRUNETTE clients. Because the box colour is very generic it is very difficult to get the proper tone (warm, ashy, gold... etc) in a box colour. And I find the colour swatches to be very unpredictable. This colour also stains. So if you were ever thinking of doing anything lighter (peek-a-boos, ombré, hilights, or just a lighter shade of brown) there will be a band of the hair that was box dyed that will be much harder to lift. To all my RED clients. The red tones that you get in box kits are typically not very shiny or Dimensional. And, again, this colour will stain your hair and therefore make it very difficult to lift out of your hair when the time comes. There are some cool products in the store will temporarily cover the roots (and wash out) I would highly suggest trying to use these types of products until you come see me again. I know it sucks and seeing all those natural platinum hairs coming in can be hard to look at in these times. But I also want you to understand that fixing a box colour can be very costly. Also, think of all the options we will have to work with (to change it up) when the time comes!!! I hope this was helpful to everyone. I miss you all and hope everyone is safe and well!!! After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided to close the salon for the time being. As Covid-19 continues to grow in our community, I don’t feel comfortable possibly putting my clients, or my family at risk. Hello to all my lovely clients. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy! Due to the growing concern of the spread of the Coronavirus I ask that you reschedule your appt if you are ... A. feeling under the weather Or B. If you have been out of the country (including the US) in the past two weeks. My clientele is made up of a wide variety of ages and health concerns, and to make this a safe place for everyone, I feel the need to take this precautionary step. We will absolutely be able to reschedule your appointment after you have been home for 14 days and/or are clear of your symptoms. I would also like to add that I will continue to clean my tools between each client. I also have the Necessary cleaning products required to clean my chair and the shampoo bowl between every client, as well as washing my own hands between each client. Good morning everyone!! Baby Boston is almost 6 weeks old already, which means I’m very quickly approaching back to work time. Now that we are officially in April- I’m back to work THIS MONTH!!! To my VERY valued clients. I first and foremost would like to thank you for your love and loyalty. The last year and a half has been nothing short of amazing as my business continues to grow. A lot of that is thanks to you with your business and referrals. As I continue to pick up speed with clients (both ones that have been with me for a long time, and new ones) my working hours have become more in demand. It makes it very difficult for me to maintain everyone hair wishe...s when I experience late cancellations and people that don’t show up for their appointments. I have implemented a no-show/ late cancelation policy. We are so excited to announce the final addition to our little family! We will be closing up shop for 8-10 weeks as we start to understand our new normal once baby comes. We will be closing around February 16th 2019. More details will come closer to the time the little bean is about to arrive
