Thank you to those who continue NOT to drop of product at out store. We are still closed, but to those who insist on dropping of you products either get taken by others or thrown all over our products. To those who insist on tearing open bags and throwing the contents all over our property YOU ARE ON SECURITY CAMERA.

If you find yourself in an emergency situation you may contact me via my cell phone at 6133299679. We are still not accepting any donations at this time. Hi everyone I have read your post with a humble heart and am so thankful for your kind remarks and support. However, at this time I need to clarify that we have... closed our furniture store due to Covid-19. Our store at 120 Garden St. is temporarily closed due to building issues that we hope can be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the PR Department, The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters Toronto. See more

I want to give a big shout out to all the local business, townships and our local radio station who have shared our post about not accepting donations at this time. Even though it has received wide distribution we are still receiving dropoffs. We do thank you for taking the time to share and to those who call to see when we will recieve donations all your efforts are greatly appreciated. Please stay safe and live every day to the fullest. God Bless

Hi folks I just want everyone to realize that when we post pictures it is not for shaming but to let people know that we are still not receiving donations . Also the donations we are receiving are not dumped as indicated by a post I read but they are put in our recycling container which may or may not be sorted. We do not garbage clothing unless it is soiled. So all our clothing that is unsuitable for our use is recycled which we receive monies which in turn is used to give ...back to the community. We run a vigorous recycling program for all items we recieve . (Metals, electronics , books , clothing etc.) We do ask that you keep you comments about the products and not about the individual. We are all facing uncharted times and we greatly appreciate all who have held on to your donations until we are able to accept them. Please keep checking our FB page for updates. Thank you and God Bless

Again I am unsure how often we need to remind people that we are NOT accepting donations at this time due to Covid-19 and we have no staff working at to receive and sort. Our facility is small and cannot handle donations without staff. The most disappointing factor is that these donation will now need to be recycled. To those who are holding on to your donations until we re-open THANK YOU. Also just a reminder we do have CAMERAS installed which allows us to view EVERYTHING happening on our property.

Unfortunately someone felt that our Furniture Store is a great garbage dump. Unfortunately having to dump your junk will cost us hundreds of dollars which at this time is extremely costly considering we are closed with no income coming in to cover these unnecessary expenses. THANK YOU

Hi folks it has been a while since I last posted on our Facebook page and although we are not open for business we are still here. It will be another month or so before we are open for business in our new normal. I want to assure all our patrons that both of our stores have been sanitized from top to bottom. No new clothing has been accepted in our store since March 15.2020 or new furniture in our furniture store. Our 120 Garden St. has been completely renovated and saniti...zed all social distancing policies are in place in both of our stores along with masks, gloves, face shields for all staff and volunteers. Our Manna Cafe cannot open until we have final inspection to assure that we are meeting all Health Care Standards. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to share community with each other. If you are in need please call 613 329 9679. See more

April 20-24 is volunteer week. A time when employers take time to let others know how important volunteers are to our businesses. No doubt this is a different time in our world our volunteers who are the lifeblood of our services are at home social distancing and staying safe . Our Thrift Stores are silent and quiet without our volunteers. We look forward to the day when we will be together again. Thank you so much for all you do, have done and will continue to do in the coming days. You are missed and we wish all our volunteers and their families the very best and please stay safe.

Good morning all. As we continue to deal with Covid-19 here in Ontario my heart goes to those who have suffered such tragic loss in Nova Scotia. Staying isolated , keeping my distance from friends seems pretty small compared to losing those you love to a senseless act of murder. Finding words to express my sadness this morning is difficult but through all of life I have realized that joy, strength, peace ; real joy, real strength, real peace dosen't come from the things of... this world or the friends that I have , or the church I belong to it comes from Jesus Christ the one who said " I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly". Yes we are affected by the tragedy of NS and by Covid-19 but HE in still here. Peace begins with me JILL JACKSON MILLER said: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me." God's Blessing on all and please stay safe. Can't wait to hug you all when we get back normal. See more
