Out playing Disc Golf at the Peterborough Zoo tonight. Not as warm as Augusta is during the Masters. And no azaleas either.
Not too late to get your ingredients and cook some yummy breakfast.
Looking for something to do Wednesday night? Why not learn about birds. The Audubon peeps are running some great sessions. You can sign up at this link. You can also see their previous chats. https://audubon.zoom.us//regist/WN_5RgB2_25QYGI1L1_YccZSg
Tonight's campfire is POSTPONED until NEXT THURSDAY, November 26. Same location and same time. Please pass on this information to other members.
Lots of great badge work done tonight for our Technology Personal Achievement Badge. Please post your app suggestions here so everyone can check them out.
The Peace Light arrived in Linz yesterday. Per the posted article Because no Upper Austrian child of the light of peace could be nominated due to the pandemic, a girl from Bethlehem took on this special task and lit the light in the grotto of Jesus' birth. Nice video in article.
Happy Anniversary to Scouter Neil and Jill Emery.
The Scout Coffee fundraiser is almost over. If you would like some organic and fair trade cofffe, roasted in Canada, please see the photos. You can order online and have it shipped to anywhere in Canada. Thanks for your continued support of Scouting.
I have sent an email detailing tomorrow's meeting. Please read and respond as soon as you can. Thanks.
Congratulations to Scouter John Parks on receiving the Bar to The Silver Acorn this afternoon.
Here is the information for a special online event on Thursday night for Venturer and Rover youth. Ingredient list is there in the link. Why not join in and make a yummy desert?
Received an email tonight from Bass Pro Shops. Our Scout Group has just been approved for a gear grant. Get ready for a shopping spree. What a great way to start the weekend!
Happy Birthday to Scouter Steve!
Here are Brendan's cinnamon buns. I bet lots of houses smell great tonight.
We did some distance baking tonight. Check out the yummy pics of cookies and cinnamon buns!
Update on tonight's Zoom. I know it's only an hour away, but if you get this before the meeting tonight, I'm going to show the kids how to make easy home made cinnamon buns. If you have Bisquick, butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar at home, maybe they can make them along with me. Need a bowl and polling pin and a cake pan. Oh, and some icing sugar for the, well, icing. If not, perhaps they can make it over the weekend and share pics. It's super simple and fast and pretty yummy.
Hey friends. Tomorrow night is the 2nd Virtual Campfire. Grab your blankets and mug of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and join in on the fun.
After our opening with flag, O Canada, promise, and anno, oops, messages, we played a round of Quiplash. Here's a look at our final tally.
We have an exciting announcement. Scouts Canada has partnered with Equator Coffee (Almonte, Ontario) to create some new coffee blends for our fall fundraiser. This will be done online with product shipped to the customer directly. More details to come, but we wanted you to know.
Scout Stuart's latest video, feat. some familiar faces.
