Keep moving forward - Keep pushing! #YouAreNotAlone #SAM... #LetsTalk #MentalHealth 2019 Started off with the potential of major sponsorship money to chase my dreams racing in NASCAR, full length documentaries, and creating a huge wave in mental health awareness. I was pumped and so excited for the year ahead. I set the bar high, created unrealistic expectations for myself and relapsed. Everything changed real quick. Sent myself to a real dark place. Very familiar territory for me. I gave it all up to focus on my mental health, before I really got myself into trouble. Sold my dreams for pennies on the dollar. Devastated to say the least. I ended up basically homeless, I locked myself in a hotel room for months. Praise the lord I have Fox by my side. If it was not for her I would have never left the room. I would not be here today if it was not for her. I was very close to attempting suicide again, on multiple occasions. Many long days and late nights. It took every ounce of me to pull outta that one. I crawled on some days, but I kept moving forward. I am very humbled for the friends that helped keep me on the right track. Beginning of 2019 I would have never imagined I would be ending it in the position I am. Still lots to work on for myself and my dreams. But I know that I am on the right track again. Very lucky and very happy to be alive and living in Northern Canada - Inukjuak. 2020 will not be "My Year" but it will be the foundation to many great years to come.
