October is deemed the fastest and hottest in the fall market and this year there were no signs of slowing down. On a year-over-year basis sales went up by 36.2% and the average price went up 15.7% the second-highest increase to June and July. ... New Listings were up 27.6% and Active Listings are down only slightly by 4.4%. . Month to Month stats is also important to note as average prices went up by only 3.8% the first increase in month to month average pricing in 4 months. Sales decreased slightly by 5.8% and the number of new listings coming to the market decreased by 20.3% and Active listings went down by 8.3%. . Demand is still a driving force, and the market is relative but what does that mean? It means if you sell high, you are likely to buy high.
