Did you know? Logwood (Haematoxylum campechianum) sailed the Atlantic Ocean between Mexico and Europe aboard pirate ships from the 17th to the 19th centuries. It grows abundantly in South and Central America, and produces large amounts of seed for replanting. I'm experimenting with logwood as a dye source for PEACE Bodice and Brief.
