A bonus for the children is that the Covid safety changes to our space created more hiding places for hide and seek. Today there were many giggles because this child in the black hoody won the game!

We are always proud to offer our free children's centre program, but run it only with the support of our donors. This year we are participating in the Giving Tuesday fundraising event. Please check it out and support us, or pass this on to your friends who may be able to.

We were given a donation of an Xbox game system earlier in the fall, and the kids are loving it! We've never had Xbox before, so this is a real treat for them :)

To parents and guardians of Sanctuary children: We have Shaw internet and telephone service. On days like today, please answer if you receive a call from Leanne - it may be your child calling home using her cell phone! If it is critical to reach us, our Sanctuary House cell phone is usually a short walk away: it’s number is 250 231-3272. Barb will get any messages to us.

We've always, personally, brought home our cleaning rags, kitchen towels, furniture covers, etc. to disinfect, wash and dry. This is no longer an option due to the new rules and regulations, and so the board agreed that we needed to complete these tasks on site. We're excited to have our new washer and dryer set!
