Sandhurst Consulting 26.02.2021

Have been working with both Police Officers and Fire Fighters this week in Calgary and Edmonton. In both cases we assisted with leadership development training for the next generation of leaders in emergency services. With the talent and enthusiasm we saw, the future of these organizations is in good hands!

We are pleased to annouce that following a RFP submission earlier in the year, we have been awarded a contract by the City of Chestermere, Alberta to develop a Municipal Emergency Management Plan and deliver all the associated training and validation exercises. We look forward to working with the staff in Chestermere and other key stakeholders over the next few months on this important project.

A big thank you to the whole team (not just the 3 in the picture!) and especially to our great clients for helping us get to where we have so far. Hopefully lots more to come! http://calgaryherald.com//parker-sandhurst-consulting-uses

Had a great time working with Pembina Pipelines this week, providing both training and support for a Full Scale Exercise. The After Action Review is the most important stage of the process - to ensure lessons are captured for the next time around. This is the Sandhurst team at EndEx comparing notes in the Calgary Sim Cell with our Fort McMurray contingent on the other end of the phone.

Some great work at Cenovus last week working with the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) staff to validate their policies and procedures by completing a challenging exercise. Really impressive to see the engagement from across the organization including the EM and Security groups, the senior executives who attended updates and the numerous employees who volunteered to be role players and staff the simulation cell. If you want to go beyond a box ticking table top and really put your response plan to the test get in touch. We are ready to help.
