Hey everyone, Unfortunately Peter Gisborn has let us know that due to an emergency circumstance he will no longer be able to coach the clinic. Thankfully we will still be able to go ahead with the clinic as Ray Butterfield has offered to teach tomorrow. Ray is an extremely talented and experienced equestrian and an excellent clinician. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact Sandra. She is very sorry and hopes you all understand that these circumstances are out of her control. We hope to still see you all tomorrow. Thank you again for your understanding.

Hey everyone, we are happy to announce that with the government enacting phase one of reopening the province we have been allowed to open to boarders by appointment only. We thank everyone for helping make this weekend a successful reopening. This is a step in the right direction and we hope that things will continue to move towards normalcy. We have decided not to resume lessons as of yet because we want to make sure the hygiene and social distancing protocols we have put in place are working before fully reopening. We thank everyone for their patience, Sandra will be in contact with everyone regarding lessons when it is safe to resume them. Stay healthy everyone!

Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is doing well, many of you have seen the notice from Equine Canada. It is great news however it is a little misleading. They have only released a possible protocol on what farms like ours should do once we get the okay from the government. As of right now we are still under a state of Emergency which is preventing recreational facilities like ours from opening. We know everyone misses coming to the farm but at this point in time we must remain closed until we are given the okay from the government and public health officials. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe everyone.

-Somewhere right now is an eventer, gutted that their season is over before it’s begun. -There is a boarder who doesn’t know when they’ll next be able to see th...eir horse due to lockdown. -There is a barn owner struggling to find the hours in the day while working overtime alone in an essential role. -There is a rider with an arena, disappointed that all their training and competitions are cancelled. -There is a rider without an arena, wondering how they are going to stay on top of schooling. -There is a freelancer, trying their best to make ends meet as barns close and clients run out of money. -There are vets and farriers risking their health because they refuse to compromise horse welfare. -There is a rider feeling guilty for riding because they've been called selfish. -There is a rider feeling deflated and low, because they have chosen not to ride as they don’t want to risk a fall. And somewhere out there is a little girl, stuck inside, looking at the posters on her wall wishing she could have her own pony, after her riding lessons were cancelled indefinitely. Everyone’s problems are relative. Make the best of what you’ve got and be grateful for it, because the likelihood is...someone out there will be wishing they have what you’ve got. Stay safe, be kindSleeping Fox Farm Eventing and Sleeping Fox Farm Thoroughbred Rescue we are practicing social distancing while maintaining our farm. We wish everyone the best in this very difficult time Repost from Dawn Sposato Taken from another post - I pray everyday, morning and night we will Get to a place where we complain about entry fees, and gas prices #stayhome #washyourhands #RN #myqueenandI #mybalance #frontlines #myqueen #fouroffthefloor
