The winner of the People's Choice is 'Hope' created by at our sand carving bootcamp by visual art students in partnership with The Works Art & Design Festival. They were mentored by our professional sand carving artists Peter Vogelaar and Guy Olivier Deveau. Of course we couldn't bring this art back every year without Edmonton Arts Council and Alberta Foundation for the Arts providing grants here at Boardwalk #SandOnWhyte.

Today is the last day to visit Boardwalk #SandOnWhyte 2019! We're open until 10pm here in Old Strathcona - Whyte Avenue. The Whyte Avenue Art Walk is also here.

Sunday is the last day of #SandOnWhyte 2019! It's a fun-filled weekend with lots of events happening in Old Strathcona - Whyte Avenue. We're open 10am-10pm, admission by cash donation. Thanks to Travel Alberta, Edmonton Tourism and Old Strathcona Foundation
