Please help our dear friend Ruthie who is a mother of 6. They are members of our community and as a community, we need to pull together to help this family. Anything will help! If anyone is interested in helping with some fundraisers, please message or Le Farris directly.

Merry Christmas from the Chaplin family at Sandow Farm. 2020 marks our 10th year here at the farm and we've felt especially grateful to have been able to spend the pandemic on 5 acres in Keswick Ridge. While our apple crop was miniscule this year we had record-breaking sales at our roadside stand in garlic, jellies and bagged apples. In December we had extra community support and purchases of jelly, felted apples and snack mix at Red Robin Christmas Tree Farm. We're heading ...into winter with extra support for all the soil life in our orchard. Extra applications of lime and composted horse manure have been spread throughout the orchard. We planted 1,572 garlic during October. Let's help continue to support local agriculture in 2021. We're told that in the province we grow a mere 8% of what we consume. Let's keep turning that support back to NB growers and producers.

We sure missed the Common Ground Fair with the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) this year but got a sweet framing job done in lieu. https://instagr.am/p/CI52n0dj_zD/

Our family watched the "Kiss The Ground" documentary this weekend and it was a hit! It was a great visual presentation on the benefits of regenerative agriculture. The film illustrated the importance of eating/growing food that benefit healthy soil microbes, which in turn will sequester carbon from the atmosphere. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think: https://youtu.be/K3-V1j-zMZw... Kiss The Ground
