Memories of our first camping trip this summer to Lost Ledge, (near Kaslo, BC) and one of the paintings which I completed there. So nice to be close to the mountains, and have a get away .

Here's a recent watercolour looking down from our local hiking trail above Pulpit Rock at the flag pole towards Nelson. My husband took this photo on Father's Day, I wasn't able to go along, but apprecaited getting the image to paint from. Thoughts for an interesting title?

Just finished this painting inspired by a recent trip by my husband and son took to the FourSquatters Icefields. I was attracted to the backlight flowers and the sense of distance in this scene. It was another fun painting to do as I used the throwing paint technique. Have to wash the paint off the walls and floor now!

I created this piece while staying home due to the current health crisis . It was so refreshing to throw and paint the bright colours and let the paint move and flow on it’s own. The fun of watercolour ! "WildflowerTangle" 13" x 20"
