Happy 2021 Everyone! Many of you are back to work today, but yet the salon is still closed due to the covid pandemic. I’m so anxious to get back and see you all again. So I decided to share this great transformation I did before the lock down. After 4 long days working around the clock, this morning the salon sits silent. Such an emotional week and a week of sadness knowing that now the salon will be closed for a month of covid lockdown. Although it’s been chaotic and stressful, I am thankful for you my clients who have been there to help me through. All the thoughtful messages, heartfelt gifts, referrals, positive reviews and social media outreaches, every gift card purchase or that extra item of retail you bought... has helped me through the most difficult year in the salon. I am so grateful for the loyalty you all have shown me Although the salon will be closed for personal services, you are still able to purchase gift cards, retail products and home care touch up kits over the holidays - with contactless pickup or local delivery. It has been a very stressful and chaotic time for the salon the last few days. I am extremely saddened to have to temporarily shut down the salon again and for another 4 long weeks. Especially at Christmas time, which is the busiest time of the whole year for any salon. This has greatly impacted me as a business owner on a very deep level. Please everyone do your part to help bring down the number of Covid-19 cases. This has extremely effected all small businesses in our/your... community. Thank you to everyone who has rebooked their appointments for this week and all the heartfelt messages I have received. To be as accommodating to everyone as possible, I have decided to extend my hours even further. If any of you want to have your hair done for Christmas and prefer a later evening appointment I will be working until I can no longer stand tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. Effective Sunday December 13th the salon will be required to temporarily close due to the new mandates set today by the government. This has come as another hardship on us small businesses and I want to say a big thank you to those who have rebooked their appointments and have gone along this journey with me. It definitely hasn’t been an easy road. That being said I have extended my hours and have two available appointments left for this week, Thursday and Friday morning. I...f you are interested in getting your hair done, this will be your last chance since it’s looking like the salon will have to shut down for a minimum of 4 weeks.
