Preparing for moving day doesn't have to be a struggle! Here's a handy list of phone numbers you'll need for the big day! You'll want to contact your landline phone provider at least 2 weeks prior to possession to allow for transfer of the line or to schedule installation of a new one. To keep warm all winter long, contact SaskEnergy to get set up.... Advise your electricity provider at least 1 week prior to possession to ensure meters are hooked up and disconnections take place. Call for water services at least 1 week prior to possession. The Tax Installment Payment Plan Service (TIPPS) allows property owners to pay their property taxes in monthly installments, rather than one lump sum. Scheduling internet and cable hookups can take a while. Call at least 1 week prior to possession to make an appointment. To claim your garbage (black), recycling (blue), and yard waste (green) bins, call or email the city providers before possession day. Contact schools to register your children, especially if you are changing districts! Sales were up 40.5% over last year Active listings were down by 20.6%... Days on market were down 20.8% Average home prices were up 2.5% All of these great stats, combined with a sales-to-listings ratio of 69.0% shows us we're still in a fast-moving market favoring sellers.
