Lessons under the lights. The footing's still good and we hate to move indoors.
Our first ever 2 day show. Jump classes Sunday were fun and finished with the exciting 3 bar competition won by Faith Hanlan riding Sara Ulan's Freud. Congratulations to Show Champion Hope Perreault and her chestnut gelding, Odyssey and also to Reserve Champion, Rylie Urano riding Bullerock. If you have wonderful photos you'd like to share please send them in
Yesterday's weather was absolutely beautiful for the first day of our fall schooling show! Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers and participants who made it all work. Here's a few photos from the day.
Please remember this is our fall schooling show weekend and there are no classes either Saturday or Sunday. Classes resume as usual next weekend.

Jessica always has lots of great shots. Check out her albums to see if you're in one of them
Well it was fun to get to an event - so few opportunities these days. Congratulations to Chris Cassis and Kristopher Kool (owned by Amanda Thibodeau) on a 4th place in the Training division along with 2nd in the TIP award at the Alhambra Fall Event. And also to Declan Hutcheon on Toy Story who was hot on his heels in 5th! Robin Peterson took home the 5th in Open Pre Training on Saturday and Kathryn Bourgeois completed her first horse trials with Dash To My Tune. Lessons learned and much fun was had by competitors at this landmark Event. Thanks, Ulricka for 25 years of eventing fun on your beautiful farm.
1% is all you can ask on any given day. If you get 1% be grateful and ease off. It's enough!
A beginning rider wants to work on intermediate horsemanship. Prepping for the coffin. Such a lovely day at Alhambra Stables yesterday. Except for the wind. That was fierce! Great schooling though and we're all set for the fall event. Thanks Ulrika.
