Offering up one more item for sale.... This is actually the very first sale ever made at Sandwiched. I bet you think its a Hot Chick, or even...well...a sandwich...though it isn't. When I presented my first menu to the farmers market management, I had one dessert on there and it was Key Lime Pie. Since there was a place making pies in the market and they didn't want too much overlap, they asked if I would be willing to remove the Key Lime Pie and I said no because it is just... that good. I gave it a quirky name calling it Limelight Pie (referring to one of my favorite Rush songs). It then ended up being the first item we ever sold and was very popular with the few people who actually had it. I guess lime pie is not really everybody's go to dessert, and I get that, but when its good its great! I have been making it for the past 7 years now and it is always a big hit. So, if you want to take a chance, come into the Limelight and order up a taste of summer! $25 for a full pie

Hello all! I hope that you have been doing well during these crazy times. Hopefully a silver lining during all of this has been opportunities to work on things that you did not have time for before. I have been able to cook and bake a lot and wanted to share some of these things with you. Obviously there are limits to what I can sell out of my home, but I do have a few things to offer for sale if anybody out there is interested.... First is home made bread. This is basically ...sourdough, but not sour. The bread is crusty outside and soft inside. Warm this up in the oven, grab some butter (and honey if you like to live on the wild side) and you may just eat the whole thing. For a small additional charge I can put some extra fixings in the bread like green onions, carmelized onions, parmesan, pepper or anything you want really. I can even make colored bread like the blue one in the picture. My kid LOVES this. $7 for 1 loaf or $9 with them extra fixins Second is what I dare say may be one of the best cheesecakes that you have ever eaten. I discovered that using mascarpone cheese along with the usual cream cheese makes for an amazingly creamy and indulgent version of the classic cheesecake. Yes, it is a bit more pricey, but oh man is it worth it. Of course I can also do a standard cheesecake that is still amazing. I use a graham cracker crust mixed with crushed nuts for an extra layer of flavour, but can definitely make it without nuts if you prefer. Price for a whole mascarpone cheesecake is $50 and $40 for a standard cheesecake. Finally, I can offer what many of you know you want and need...Hot Chick sauce. $20 for a full litre. This last for at least a month in your fridge and is great not only on chicken, but as your new secret bbq sauce. Nobody will be able to figure out what you did to take your bbq to the next level of awesome deliciousness! Please email [email protected] to place your order. City wide delivery is available for a small charge or free for orders over $75. I hope you all stay safe and have a happy and enjoyable summer.
