"Pisces, A work in progress." __ The analog purist in me throws her head back and howls, tantrum in full force. She crosses her arms and sticks out her tongue.... -"Buuut I don't waaant to". -"Now, now," I coo, holding her hand gently, "soon we will be splashing around in the pools of infinite creation. Besides, that 'undo' button certainly has its appeal." -"OKAY. FINE." __ Tonight we took the leap and began the journey of learning how to digital paint. It is such a curious medium, photoshop. The balance between smooth and rough is one I will endlessly be learning how to weave into my style. The capacity for texture in digital art is extraordinary. How excited I am to find my flow. <3

I have good news. The final piece to my tattoo studio is on its way. My stencil machine. I am hoping it arrives before summer's end. It took many moments more than anticipated, and I want to apologize to the people that have been waiting. Though, the journey has been in the acceptance of the possibility of success. Admittedly I have been dragging my feet. It has been a process. An overcoming of self-limiting beliefs. ... I think every artists's journey encapsulates some degree of imposter syndrome, for we define taste before skill catches up to our ideals. I have certainly wrestled with it. Yet, let be known this: Nothing will hold me back from becoming one of the greatest artists Vancouver and the West Coast has ever seen. Especially not me. I promise. <3 There are great things upon the horizon. Within the next couple weeks my website will be ready to launch and I will be releasing the work that's been under wraps.

'Breathless; Vicious was fear but bright was the hope.' . I was flipping through Pinterest for ideas, as I do, and I stumbled upon this photography concept. I was like, I HAVE to paint this! I added my personal touches of elven, gothic aesthetic and here we are- WIP line art. .... She's a tattoo design. Instagram crops the full image but she's available in full on my story for a bit longer today along with some of the painting progress.
