I would love to sit here and tell you that working in real estate is all glitz and glam, luxury cars, luxury houses, wild parties like you see on TV..... but......ITS NOT. There are awesome days AND days where you just can't fix it all. You see realtor post the success and sales but do you see whats going on behind the scenes?... Well today is one of those not so good days but I am determined to turn it around for my buyers. Sometimes sellers can be extremely unreasonable and no matter how many times you tell them something is black, they claim its white! The only course of action at this point is legal HOWEVER as realtor, sometimes you need to step up to the plate and be the hero. Consider this when your picking a realtor, will they step up to the plate and do what it takes to give you the insurance and peace of mind that the home you are purchasing is what you actually purchased?! Since becoming a realtor, I have had to become many roles. Pet walker, pet adopter, counselor, separation negotiator, trades, voice of reason, voice of disapproval but the biggest one Problem Solver! Its an amazing job that covers all things but never ever day is glamorous. FINALLY!!!!! Not going to lie......I had this listing way longer then I intended to. Buying land only is not easy. You need money. Cash money. Getting a mortgage on land only can be expensive and difficult. In most cases you need at least 50% down. Then if you plan on building thats a whole new ball game. You need to speak to multiple departments in the city to fully understand what you are buying. It also takes time. It doesn't happen quickly.... Buying land only is not for the weak at heart buyer, its a leap and you want to make sure you are working with an experienced buyers agent who has bought land only parcels before. I'm so happy for my sellers who went through multiple offers including COVID with many disappointments but in the end we got it done. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
