Digestion/ absorption Issues? Many people experience health issues based on the simple fact that they are not able to fully digest and/ or are not able to fully absorb what they are consuming. If we are unable to absorb the nutrients within our foods, than our cells are not able to receive the nourishment needed in order to function properly as well as optimally. That is why I have outlined the FIVE MAIN REASONS why we are not able to properly digest/ and or absorb our food.... The truth is that in our society, we tend to be so busy and so distracted that we often do not chew our food well or even pay much attention to what we are consuming. I’m definitely guilty of this: eating while watching tv or in the car or while doing a billion other things in a day. However, eating mindfully and consciously can help us to digest food more efficiently and minimize digestive issues. It is recommended to chew each bite 30 times! It is so easy to see the flaws and wallow in the downfalls of humanity and personal struggle. It is so much more difficult especially in times of struggle (like this pandemic for example) to focus on the struggles and the challenges however, we have to make that conscious effort to try to continually focus on the positive and find the joy and happiness in our lives. There is nothing more important than your mental health and your outlook on life. Your mind has the power to change the direction of your entire life. With all of that being said it takes time to develop the positive habits when you’ve let the negative ones consume your mindset for so long. I encourage you to step out of that comfort zone and try some new habits!
