Hi Everyone, As Windsor Essex County prepares to move to red effective Monday morning I wanted to take a moment to bring you up to speed. This shift in zones does not directly affect the ability of RMT’s to practice. Regulated health professionals are permitted to continue to provide healthcare services keeping restrictions in place such as patient pre-screening and infection control measures. This will continue to be the case if we find ourselves moved into Lockdown stat...us as well. I will continue to monitor the situation and in the event that I personally decide the risk to be to great, you may find that I press pause for a time. I assure you that if that becomes the case I will ALWAYS personally contact you of any upcoming appointment cancellations. As we enter into the Christmas season trust that we will get to the end of this thing......and in the mean time, don’t forget to shine some light See more

When COVID says No to your waiting room you say yes to a new reception desk. Having a work station to book appointments and work on files is a game changer. The treatment room will now function in one capacity instead of two keeping it cleaner for you. Patients are also enjoying the one person in the clinic at a time policy. This provides for improved physical distancing and confidentiality.

Construction: Road closure between Heritage and Queen Street If coming into Kingsville from the Arner please be advised that you are still able to make a right hand turn at Heritage Road. If coming into Kingsville by way of Division continue through the main intersection heading towards lakeside park. Turn right onto Herrington, turn left onto Harold Cull Drive, Stonehedge is the third street on the right.

Time for an update: As you know all Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario were able to resume practicing as of May 27th. After putting protocol in place, acquiring PPE and completing on-line education, I opened my doors June 9th to those in essential need. As we move forward into phase two I am opening more appointments within my schedule to accommodate 3 patients a day. This will include those dealing with chronic pain that is progressively getting worse along with ...anyone experiencing an acute flare up. Just like last time I have already contacted the patients assessed into this category. If I missed you or if your symptoms have taken a turn for the worse please contact me. Thank you for your understanding and patience. My goal of taking this conservative approach to reopening is in hopes of preventing a second wave and getting everyone back to work. I am looking forward to phase 3 when I can welcome everyone back!! See more

I just wanted to touch base with you on what your next appointment will look like the next time you walk through my door. We have all had some level of anxiety lately walking into a store unsure of what the protocol is. In an effort to take some of that stress away I am going to walk you through it. 1. You will be pre-screened for COVID the day before your appointment through e-mail 2. The day of your appointment come alone, wear a mask and stay in your vehicle and text m...e when you arrive. This will ensure that the office is ready for you. I have a strict cleaning/disinfection protocol between each patient. 3. When you walk through the door know that I am smiling behind my mask. It has been a long time since we have seen each other. You will sanitize your hands and if you are not wearing a mask this is when you will be given one. Once you pass the same screening test from the day before you will sign in with a pen that is disinfected between each patient. 4. After you have washed your hands and are seated in the treatment room we will discuss your needs, just like before except with a little more distance between us. 5. When your on the table you may notice that the top extra blanket is missing and replaced by a single thicker flannel one. The part of the massage where we are at most risk to each other is when I am seated at the top of the table massaging your neck and shoulders. I ask that at this time we don't talk unless it is directly related to your treatment. Remember we will both be wearing masks at this point, but we can skip this area if you wish. 6. When your treatment is over and you are dressed complete with mask I will meet you out in the reception area. You will notice chairs have all been removed and some extra distance has been created. Payment made electronically using debit, credit or e-transfer is recommended but cash or cheque are acceptable as well. Washing your hands before you leave is highly recommended. As I have said before this is going to be a slow reopening. I am taking great care to keep us all healthy. See more

Update: Opening phase 1: The office will start to gradually reopen Tuesday June 9th. Please understand that I am only treating patients that are essential during this phase. Windsor Essex County has been deemed one of the harder hit areas of Ontario. For this reason 1 patient per day will be seen until the local COVID-19 infection rates drop consistently. I have already contacted the patients that I feel fall into this phase, however if your symptoms have changed dramati...cally since last we communicated please feel free to reach out. I have gone through all the patients that I was previously treating in an ability to assess which phase I professionally believe applies in each case. Phase2: Patients with the next level of need will be contacted and more time slots within my schedule will be opened. 45 minutes will be left between patients to diligently clean and disinfect the office. Phase 3: As the Ministry of health indicates control over the spread of the virus the last patients will be contacted. More appointment slots will be added. Phase 4: Ability to take on new patients again. Phase 5: End of public health restrictions Thank you all for your understanding and patience. In the near future I will update you on the changes in the office so you know what to expect when you next walk through my door. Its been a long time.

Update: The Ontario government announced today that Massage Therapists are permitted to GRADUALLY restart treating patients. Our regulatory College is recommending RMT's resume practice with caution, limiting the number of visits for the safety of healthcare providers and patients. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT OPEN YET. THAT ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE IN THE FOLLOWING WEEK AHEAD. I have protocols yet to finalize and PPE yet to be delivered to make sure my practice is sa...fe for the both of us. I assure you I have been actively engaged in securing new equipment and PPE throughout this time. It is being strongly recommended that only patients with essential care needs are seen at this beginning stage. Treatment is considered essential when the clients overall health or function would considerably decline if treatment were not provided. In other words, you have to decide if the benefit of treatment outweighs the risk. The risk is different for everyone. Significant increase in use of pain medication, unmanageable chronic pain levels and acute nerve pain are all good examples of patients that may choose care. I can also help you determine this over the phone, I am here to help. *Please note that you will be required to wear a mask to your appointment. With supply so limited it would be much appreciated if you brought your own. A cloth mask is acceptable. *I will continue to update this page in the near future with an opening date and new protocols that will be in place during your visit. I want you to feel comfortable and know what to expect when you walk through my door again. If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to call or text me. Please understand that I can not take new patients at this time.

Hello Everyone, The Ontario government announced several businesses that will be permitted to open or expand their services. Please note that Massage Therapy is not included as part of the first stage of the government's reopening framework. It has yet to be determined which stage Massage Therapy will be included in. Our hope is that the general trend on health indicators continues to improve.

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all managing well through these unprecedented times. I just wanted to take a few minutes to update you on the current status with regards to Registered Massage Therapy. The Provincial Government has yet to release a time line to indicate which reopening phase Massage Therapy will be included in. I want to give you my assurance that when we are allowed, I will personally be contacting each patient I had to cancel with the option to reschedule.... On that note, I want to make you aware that it will not be business as usual. A term we are hearing a lot of these days. Our Governing College as well as the Provincial Government will help guide us through new safety protocols. I want to let you all know that your health, as well as my own are my highest priority. Looking forward to better days ahead. See more

My practice is currently closed on the recommendation made by the College of massage therapists of Ontario to suspend all non-essential massage therapy treatment due to the corona virus. Please take care of yourself and those around you by following the recommended social distancing.
